Hey! I am Brittany Freemon, and I also go by “NovaFro”. Im a graphic designer by trade, I enjoy working on projects that need to tell a story from a visual perspective. I strive to create a distinctive artistic vision in the art world by designing and producing unique content for my clients and projects across various mediums.

 

  Four years ago, I decided to take my knack for painting seriously and have been showcasing my pieces at local pop-up galleries. Through my painting journey, I've been developing my style of art in vibrant portraits, with an essence of whimsy expressed through a Black American lens. I like to capture the emotion of a moment, typically from our pop culture, whether past, present, or future. I strive to challenge myself with each piece.

 

I work primarily with acrylic paints and various other materials on canvas. Through trial and error, often having to go into improvisation mode during most paint sessions, I manage to turn my happy accidents into something that may bring joy to others as well as myself.  No technique of expressing my thoughts onto a canvas is off-limits when it comes to my art.
